iPad 6 / iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 to be announced on October, 16th?
An invitation has been sent a couple of days ago and it is expected to see the release of OS X Yosemite and a new iPad (6th generation) likely to be called “iPad Air 2”.
There has also been rumours about some other Apple devices that are less likely to be announced but the might well be, for instance: iPad Mini 3, a 12.9 inches iPad, a retina iMac, a new MacBook Pro or Macbook Air.
iPad Air 2
iPads are updated every year and based on that information and the number of leaks it is almost confirmed that a new iPad Air 2 or iPad 6 should be expected.
OS X Yosemite
Yosemite Beta was announced already and its mobile part (iOS 8) is already out so it is expected to see the release of the final version of the OS that requires at least 2GB of RAM and 8 GB of free storage space. In order to update Mac OS X 10.6.8 or above should be already installed.
The compatible Macs that have been announced are: iMac (Mid-2007 or later), MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later), MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later), (15-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later), (17-inch, Late 2007 or later), MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later), Mac Mini (Early 2009 or later), Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
